The sales rock :: Shopping in Milan

July did bring me a lot of lucks. One of them was the fact that I set foot on Milan streets and walked in fashion stores then stepped out with purchased shopping bags. That's maybe a simple happiness of every shopaholic I reckon. But to me, it meant more than that. Milan was always my dream city and coming there was always my dream. Finally after years I made it, I could watch my dream city with my naked eyes and buy things that I desired and that I just had to pay half price only. My decision about the trip to Milan in July did not disappoint me at all. The crazy sales rocked. Needless to say, I felt overwhelmed with happiness and excitement during my whole trip in Milan. Even up to now I still wish I could have extended my sojourn in Milan. If next year and years ahead, you happen to be in Milan or plan to visit Milan during your summer holiday, don't miss out Milan of July and don't forget to walk along these following streets Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Corso Buenos Aires, Via Torino and Corso di Porta Ticinese ;) XOXO

So it is, July has come. A new month has come and I am wishing you guys a productive month with all coolest wishes in this hot summer :)

July, it's my fav month ever. At least two big events are coming to me this month. The first one is that I am going to Milan, one of four biggest fashion cities in the world beside London, Paris and New York. It seems like I am going to the chic paradise ^_^ (happy face). And another one is that I will be turning to a new age. Hopefully, brighter things will come to and stay with me. I am very excited and eager waiting for them and also other unscheduled things which may happen in this month and the future.

When in Rome:: The place I can call home

It's been over 3 weeks now since I came here, Rome, Italy, but today I just have a chance to update my stay in Rome. I am so lucky to get here, stay in a lovely apartment, make friends with amazing people from different countries. That's how exactly my life goes on and should move on. I am happy like over the moon and want to share my happiness with you guys, my readers. Also, I do hope that your life is going on the way you want it to be.

Tuscany

I'm so happy to share with you that I'm preparing for my summer trip. And a must-see place I really really want to pay a visit is Tuscany in Italy, specifically the Chianti region with cypresses, sunflower fields, stunning hills. Actually, I did visit Tuscany last year but just Florence and Pisa only. I didn't have the opportunity to see natural landscapes in other regions in Tuscany. So I do wish to make it this year.

Colorful life on colorful feet

Summer is coming. It's good time to go camping, climb the mountain, travel somewhere, etc. And that's my fav season ever. For this special period of time, I am thinking about colorful sneakers which are quite useful for such kind of outdoor activities. Why colorful?

Paris Je T'aime

Some of my friends are going to leave for Paris next week. This reminds me a lot of last year when I was preparing for my EU field trip and staying in Paris after that. Paris is like a pretty girl in love. She can express her gentle manner, lovely romance but she can also turn to be stuck-up right away

Little Break

Here in Vietnam it's national holiday and then weekend, so we have 3 days off and for me it's kinda little break. Not a few people travel somewhere to enjoy the break, but I decide to stay still in the city to gather with my relatives and friends. We are gonna throw a family party and I just can't wait for that.

These minutes of break inspire something pure and gentle into me. And WHITE is the first thing I think about. The following are exactly what I would love to put on during this short holiday. They are quite simple and classic, which I really love. Also, they are easy to mix with each other. Now I am ready for going out. Have a fabulous weekend everybody :) XOXO

Japanese Traditional Dolls

A week ago, I and my friends were so happy to welcome our JENESYS friend from Malaysia - Huda - in Hanoi. Three years and a half ago, we all participated in a JENESYS program called Japan - ASEAN Student Conference in Japan. Although our time spending together was not much, we felt regretted saying goodbye to each other when the program ended and our mission was accomplished. It was like magical luck that we were granted to know each other and be friends till today. Since then, we have kept in touch with each other and tried to make international reunions as many as possible. That's really meaningful to our lives and we cherish all the time we can be together. And this time, Huda did it! She's been traveling several ASEAN countries and one of her stops was Hanoi.

Happy Xmas and New Year!

Festive season finally has come. Let's think about what we have done during this year. Some of us have maybe recorded great achievements but perhaps some haven't. Whatever the consequences are, we should move forward with positive thoughts and actions for a better year, future ahead and for beloved ones around us.  From the bottom of my heart, I wish everybody a very happy Christmas and new year. Sunday Camping

A day has gone. I completely had a very cool Saturday out with friends. Each day is part of a chain of memories. I'm doing my best to make every single day of mine amazing so that I can own a fantastic chain - a stunning accessory, isn't it? ^^  On the way back home, I was thinking about my Sunday plan - what should I do with the last day of this weekend? hmmm Amazingly, my close friend came up with an idea to have a look of dark green and light yellow. This is awesome. Such dark green and light yellow make a perfect match. I totally love this idea and flashed a look associated these natural colors. The green and yellow bring me a close feeling to nature with trees, leaves and sunshine. It would be great to go camping or have a picnic under canopies of leaves and warmie sunshine on Sunday :) So here is the outfit I have chosen for Sunday. Happy Sunday! Happy camping! - XOXO

Thursday Freedom

It's getting  cooler and cooler. A cardigan and scarf are must-have items in this weather and my favorite at all times. I prefer to wear them with a set of tank-top and denim shorts. I also love to mix beige and white together. The simplicity of such beige and white makes me feel peaceful.  So I'd love to introduce to you an example of one fall outfit basically using beige and white.

Tokyo in my eyes

It seems that my college life took me to Everland of Peter Pan where I could fly or jump to such and such places in all moods of joy and pride. Indeed, I have flown to several promised lands and one of them which has deeply rooted in my memory and inspired me to write first words in this Travel category is such Japan, the country of rising sun, the land of sakura, the land of fat wrestlers Sumo and the land of sake.

It was 1-week Japan trip for participating in Japan-ASEAN Student Conference in November, 2009. The trip brought me a lot of pros, for example, transnational friendship, new awareness of Asia, a very good chance to explore Japanese culture, etc.

I had 1 week to be in Japan but just a very few days in Tokyo, other time in Sendai. Both of these places contain part of my memory, my love and my life. I’d like to tell about them all, one by one. Firstly, Tokyo in my eyes.

- First impression: First scenes of Tokyo in my eyes were very bright signs along the lobbies in airport building. They all looked gorgeous with attractive words and images. But more interesting point was Japanese bakeries decorated by colorful cakes and cake boxes. I totally had a crush on them all due to a starving stomach after a night long flying in East Asian sky (:
